Though Kate Hudson’s currently traveling the globe busy promoting both her new lifestyle book (Pretty Happy) and new movie (Kung Fu Panda 3), the 36-year-old isn’t dressing like Mei Mei, her cuddly and sassy kimono-wrapped panda character. On Friday in London, the blonde starlet colorfully said goodbye to thick, heavy winter layers and instead opted for a loose-fitting ensemble that’s a clear sign of spring’s arrival.
For the afternoon outing, Hudson sported a baby blue pair of palazzo-like linen pants with a matching floor-length trench coat. Her nude sleeveless top was tucked into her trousers and paired well with coordinating platform sandals and a fringe handbag with a beaded, geometric strap. She rocked her recently cut lob down with panache and threw on brown cat eye sunglasses.
This isn’t the only time Hudson has made us take a closer look at her fashion choices. She daringly rocked her toned abs at a Pretty Happy book signing in Miami last month, and wowed on the Oscars after-party circuit.
