Is the reemergence of the pantsuit upon us? Well, for Kate Hudson, it is.
The Deepwater Horizon star was spotted out and about on the streets of New York City on Wednesday wearing the coolest vintage-inspired chambray suit with flared sleeves and pants—not exactly what you'd see Hillary Clinton wearing to the next presidential debate. Hudson paired the matching blazer (which she left unbuttoned) and pants with a white cotton T-shirt and a hip black fedora. A mix of thin silver necklaces and black nail polish gave the 37-year-old mother-of-two's look a fashion-forward boho edge.
Hudson is in N.Y.C. promoting Deepwater Horizon. In the thriller based on a real life oil spill, Hudson portrays the wife of an oil rig engineer (played by Mark Wahlberg), alongside her stepdad Kurt Russell.
"I'm not a shameless promoter, but when I finally watched the movie, I was completely engaged," Hudson recently told InStyle. "It made me feel very emotional in the end, which is really rare when you're in something and still feel that way. It tells a different side of a story that we all know and have seen from a far."
Deepwater Horizon is due in theaters Sept. 30.
