Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer weren’t the only pair of girlfriends to present together at the Golden Globes last night. Kate Bosworth took the stage with her friend Sophia Bush to present the award for best actress in a TV drama to Taraji P. Henson. And while she may have looked composed on screen, Bosworth revealed at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globes after-party that she had butterflies in her stomach.

“I was absolutely nervous,” she told InStyle. But having her friend and “the most amazing woman on the planet,” by her side put her at ease. “We had some girl power going out. We were holding hands back stage.”

And Bush wasn’t the only one to reassure the actress. “I saw Tom [Hanks] right before I went on and he was like, 'You got this. It’ll be all right,'” she said. “If Tom Hanks says I got this, I got this.”

Her custom Dolce & Gabbana dress must have given the star a boost of confidence too, as she looked stunning in a strapless embellished red gown, Norman Silverman diamonds, and Christian Louboutin shoes. The girl power must have helped—her Golden Globes presentation went on without a hitch.
