Two stylish minds are better than one. Actresses Kate Bosworth and Ambyr Childers have teamed up to co-create AC Jewelry, a new line of delicate pieces that mixes Childers’s Native American heritage with Bosworth’s essential cool-girl vibe. “Kate has an amazing eye for what’s fresh and different,” Childers tells InStyle of the line, which just dropped at ambyrchildersjewelry.com. “We have very different styles, but we both share an artist’s sensibility and want to meaningfully connect with a larger audience.”

Inspired by Childers’s roots, the duo incorporated precious and semi-precious stones into designs that represent her heritage through details such as arrowheads, feathers, and rays of sun. “Symbols are an important element of my culture, and Kate was so excited to learn the meaning of the pieces,” Childers says. From unity and balance to wisdom and strength, even the subtlest symbols in the collection stand for something. “Small and delicate can be very powerful,” says Childers.

And while most of the designs, which range from $795 to $2,495, are dainty to reflect Childers' “inherently humble” heritage, the collection still has its share of statement pieces. One such standout creation is the End of Trail necklace (below), "a powerful piece that represents the Native American struggle yet also symbolizes hope for the future,” says Childers.

When it comes to layering the pieces, just don't overdo it—especially when it comes to the color. “Mixing tones can look amazing, but it has to have the right balance,” Childers says. “You don't want jewelry to compete—it needs to complement.”
