Once again Karlie Kloss is proving that she's equal parts beauty and brains. The 24-year-old supermodel visited NASA with her family Friday and documented the awesome experience on social media.
Kloss, who is the founder of "Kode with Klossy," a summer camp dedicated to teaching girls coding basics, spent the day touring the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where she learned all sorts of fun facts about the country's space program. For her visit, she donned a simple blue shirtdress and white flats, and she accessorized the outfit with sunglasses and a black cross-body bag—a chic yet functional ensemble for a day of touring.
So what did she see on her tour? Kloss hit the runway, but not the type she's used to—the model strutted her stuff on the runway where NASA rockets take off. She posted a cute Instagram clip while frolicking on the pavement, captioning the image, "the only other thing on this runway is rocket ships." Watch it here:
Kloss also got to see some of the aforementioned rockets. She posted a silly picture of her hand "picking up" a sky-high rocket. Under the picture, she wrote, "Houston, can I get a ride?"
It seems like Kloss and her family had an equally fun and educational day at the Space Center. At the end of their tour, Kloss posted a cute Snapchat of her family posing together, and she decorated the image with hearts and rocket ship emojis.
