A parent-child relationship is a very special thing, and it appears to be one that is very close to Kanye West’s heart. The rapper recently released his new track "Only One," a tribute to his daughter North West in which he sings from the perspective of his late mother, Donda. But now the rapper has professed his love to both his mom and baby girl in a completely different way—with tattoos.

He got it on his wrists instead. His mothers birthdate and North's birthdate in Roman numerals

On Thursday night, West stopped by Sang Bleu tattoo parlor in London alongside wife Kim Kardashian, where the rapper inked the birthdays of his mother and his daughter on each of his wrists.

Kardashian took to Instagram to document the night, posting several photos of the process, including one of tattoo artist Maxime Buchi inking West's writs (above). However, it seems as though the wrist wasn't Kanye's original choice for tattoo placement—the rapper actually wanted to have the birthday's tatted on his face. Mrs. West shared another snap that showed the outline of a birthday along his hairline, along with the caption, "I talked him out of getting a face tattoo... for now."
