In 2007, the hit coming-of-age film Juno won the hearts of film critics and young audiences alike for provoking a nationwide conversation about teen pregnancy, served up with witty dialogue, a progressive perspective, and moving performances by stars Ellen Page and Michael Cera. The indie dramedy famously defied expectations on a notably low budget, taking on an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay (with noms for three other Oscars). Ten years later, the big-screen phenomenon still holds up.
Earlier this year, director Jason Reitman celebrated Juno’s anniversary with a live reading featuring an all-female cast, including Page and Jennifer Garner, who reprised their roles to raise money for Planned Parenthood. On Halloween, mommy-to-be Jessica Alba showed off her baby bump by dressing up as the titular Juno. It’s safe to say the movie is still in all of our hearts—so join us in celebrating the iconic movie’s 10th birthday with the best GIFs from the film that still have us laughing and crying.
