Good news: Everyone’s favorite mid-‘90s family film officially began shooting on Monday. Jumanji, a 2017 sequel of the same name, is in the throes of production, but based on appearances, the remake won’t cover much of the same ground as the Robin Williams-led original.

Yesterday, cast member Kevin Hart posted a photo from the Jumanji crew’s first day on set. In the photo, four of the five known cast members (Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Hart, and Jack Black) pose in safari-squad formation against a jungle-themed backdrop, donning their best camouflage prints and exploration gear.

According to Hart’s optimistic caption, the film is off to an exciting start: “Day 1 of shooting "Jumanji" is officially in the can. We had a amazing first day. The chemistry & energy of our cast & crew was beyond amazing!!!! This movie is going to be dope as hell....Can't wait to get back to work tomorrow @therock@karengillanofficial & jack black!!!#Jumanji”

Based on the information currently available on IMDB, Nick Jonas is the only known Jumanji actor not pictured in Hart’s photo. Something to look forward to in future cast photo shoots, perhaps?
