It seems there’s never a dull or unfashionable moment in the life of Jessica Alba.
This past weekend, the 35-year-old actress and businesswoman spoke at 2016 American Made Summit in N.Y.C, where some of the nation’s most influential business leaders and innovators gathered to exchange ideas and share stories.
For the event, the Honest Company co-founder looked both fabulous and ready for business in a multicolor striped Lela Rose pencil skirt ($795; lelarose.com), a basic black tank, and a set of pointed-toe pumps. The mother of two wore her honey-brown strands in waves that cascaded down her shoulders and accessorized with her go-to oversize hoop earrings. She kept her makeup simple with a rose-colored statement lip and a subtle smoky eye.

The star also received summit-side support from her mother, Cathy Alba. Rocking autumn neutrals and a feathery blonde 'do, Mom made it clear that Jessica inherited a good portion of her style sense straight from her look-alike mama. The duo joined up with Martha Stewart, who has helmed the annual event since its inception five years ago, to pose for an Instagram photo.
After her busy Saturday of motivational speaking, Alba took to Instagram to show one way she chose to unwind. On Sunday, she shared a photo of herself during pajama-clad breather in the bathtub. "#sundaze," she captioned her photo.
