Jennifer Lopez has the best stylists in Hollywood. In fact, the squad behind her killer looks, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn (below), is so talented, the always-gorgeous star presented the fashionable duo with the award for Best Women’s Stylists at The Daily Front Row’s second annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards in Tinseltown Sunday evening.
For the dress-to-impress awards showdown, Zangardi and Haenn once again hooked J.Lo up with a dress that speaks to the beauty’s chameleon-like ability to wear just about anything. This time, Lopez slicked her hair back into a half-up, half-down 'do and opted to wear just one angelic color: white. Yes, the dress itself appears to me minimal from afar, but its totally sequined details and strategically placed bow at the left shoulder spoke volumes. As usual, she opted for gilded accessories and paired the look with sleek white pointed-toe pumps.
To present the deserving talents with the award, J.Lo shared choice words. “Rob, Mariel Haenn, and I have been through a lot together,” she told the guests, before explaining that they were responsible for her impressive costume changes at the 2015 American Music Awards, along with the looks behind her Shades of Blue press appearances, Las Vegas show, 2016 Golden Globes frock, and, of course, American Idol.
“They dress me and I looked amazing every single moment. They get my sensibilities and they’re not afraid to push me to try new things. We spend so much time together, they’ve become like a second family to me,” she added. “Their talent is always surpassed by their heart and dedication. I couldn’t be more proud to work with them and present Rob and Mariel with The Daily Front Row’s Best Women’s Stylists Award.”
Similarly, the pair thanked Lopez for her contributions, too. “You continue to push boundaries, break records, and we are forever grateful to be on a team with you,” Haenn said. “We admire and are inspired by your ability to constantly raise the bar, thus raising the bar for ourselves as well. We love and appreciate you so much.”
Keep up the head-turning work, A-team.
