How does Jennifer Aniston really feel about working on a film with fiancé Justin Theroux? We caught up with the actress at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival over the weekend (where she was honored with the prestigious Montecito Award), and Aniston revealed just how much she truly admires her beau's acting skills.
Although Aniston and Theroux had met years prior, their romance began to bloom when the two reunited in 2011 on set of the movie Wanderlust, which tells the story of a suddenly unemployed Manhattan couple (played by Aniston and Paul Rudd) who decide to experiment with living on a rural commune (led by Theroux's character) where free love rules.
"Justin kind of steals the movie," Aniston said. "He's the cult leader. The main man, who turns out to not be so much the man." However, she also revealed that it wasn't love at first sight.
"The only people I'd known from the cast were Paul, and I had met Justin years before when he was shooting Tropic Thunder," Aniston shared. "When they told me that Justin Theroux was going to play Seth—the leader of the commune—I was like, 'Wow.' He's got such short, dark hair, and it didn't fit my image of the role. And his style is, as he says, 'Winter from the waist down, all the time

.' And I was fascinated to see the amazing character that he pulled out. He's such an amazing character actor, I mean actor period, but an amazing character actor."
But Aniston didn't leave it at that: she named Theroux as one of her favorite male co-stars (Jason Bateman, Adam Sandler, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, and Ben Stiller also made the list).
