Jane Fonda, who at one time earned notoriety as queen of the workout video, is back at it with today’s release of Jane Fonda AM/PM Yoga for Beginners DVD. The 74-year-old promises to help you “build strength, improve flexibility, and relax the body” with this disc, providing three workouts for morning and two for evening. Studies have shown that a regular yoga practice can relieve stress, melt away the pounds, and even help relieve asthma attacks. It can also increase your mental prowess, a trait we already know Jane admires. “I’ve learned to be more self-aware,” she told InStyle.com at a New York fundraiser for her charity, the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention. “I didn’t pay attention [when I was younger], and I wish that I had.
