It's confirmed—Christina Aguilera will be back in her red chair for Season 8 of The Voice! The sultry singer is set to join Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton as a coach for the next season of the hit reality competition show.

Aguilera served as an original coach on show, but has taken time off to get married and welcome her second child into the world, daughter Summer Rain Rutler, who was born in August. Currently, Gwen Stefani fills the fourth seat on the TV show's seventh season.

"We are excited to welcome Christina back to her red chair and can't wait to see how she mixes things up among Adam, Blake, and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition," Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming at NBC Entertainment, said in a statement. "These four talented artists are at the top of their game as musicians and as coaches. The mentoring is sure to be intense and the stakes will be high."
