Looking for a calorie-free snack to nibble on between fashion week shows? Well, here's just the thing: InStyle illustration contributor and Estée Lauder Creative Director Donald Robertson (Donald Drawbertson to his 121,000 Instagram followers) released Fashion Is Nuts, a 40-page illustrated book, and 10 posters, which feature walnut portraits (yes, actual walnuts) of the fashion universe’s biggest creative stars photographed by the renowned Henry Leutwyler.
“In a world ruled by focus groups and 10-person creative committees, it gives me enormous pleasure to see an insane idea wheat-pasted all over New York City!" Drawbertson says. "The NEW newsstand is in our hands so we can be as uncommercial as we please. Cheers to all you Fashion Nut Lovers.”
The book ($40; fashionisnuts.com) and posters ($60 each or $500 for set of 10; fashionisnuts.com) have a limited run of 1,000 copies and are out now. Drawbertson will also sign 100 copies of the book that will retail for $100 and the posters for $150. Happy snacking.
