American Fashion Designers at Home, a new coffee table book by the CFDA and Assouline, gives readers a peek inside the homes of 115 fashion designers, including Donna Karan's lush Parrot Cay getaway as well as the luxurious abodes of Ralph Lauren and CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg. Naturally, we can expect breathtaking decor and a keen attention to color from such an illustrious group, but author Rima Suqi reveals the homes' creative owners aren't solely to credit for their luxe environs. "A lot of people have help, they just don't always admit it," she told WWD. "But these designers all read home magazines and have a lot of books on design...A lot of designers have fun with their homes." The book hits stores in September, but in the meantime, click on the gallery for a glimpse inside four designer homes.
