Supermodel Iman has been turning heads since hitting the high fashion scene in the late '70s, so it's no surprise the CFDA is naming her Fashion Icon at its annual awards ceremony on June 7th. From her flair for the exotic to her effortless red carpet turns, the Somalian beauty, who graced the runway for Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier and Yves Saint Laurent before founding a successful global beauty company, proves that great style comes naturally. "When I was modeling, you have to wear whatever they ask you to," she told WWD. "When I stopped, I started wearing silhouettes that really work for me. I love palazzo pants, dresses that are feminine and all that." Along with the CFDA honor, Iman also got a tribute from Barneys New York, who dedicated their windows to the model's iconic style.
