We love big, bold frames, but you never want to lose sight of the features behind your glasses. Before you slip on those specs, try these simple makeup tricks.

Line Up
Your must-do move: Trace liner along upper and lower lashes. If you find bold lines a little too harsh for every day, use the sharp point of your pencil to dot in between the roots of your lashes. This brings out your eyes without shrinking their shape. Try a waterproof stick, like Revlon’s ColorStay version ($9; ulta.com).

Lash Out
Amplified fringe can act as a magnifying glass around each eye, so grab a curler (like Tweezerman ProCurl, $28; sephora.com) to lift hairs from the roots. Then apply a mascara that thickens and elongates, like Blinc’s “tubing" formula ($30; sephora.com). It creates little tubes around every lash to minimize smudges.

Brow Down
Highlight the features that frame your glasses—your eye brows—with a tinted fiber-rich gel (try Benefit Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel, $24; ulta.com). Subtly darkening hairs immediately turns up the volume, while the fibers bulk up their shape.

Be Bright
It’s a no-brainer to cancel out the darkness under your eyes with a creamy concealer (we love Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, $26; sephora.com). But don’t forget to dab the formula over your lids, as well. This evens out your skin tone and creates a brighter, healthier look.
