From the precise winged liners at Fendi to the bold space-age shadows at Honor to a two-toned lid at Elie Saab, this hue helped define a major spring makeup moment. But if your weekend plans don’t include strutting down a catwalk, makeup artist Pat McGrath recommends blending the icy tone with another cool shade to add depth and make it more wearable.

“If you’re fair, try a lighter aquamarine liner with a more violet-based blue shadow,” McGrath says. For darker skin tones, she suggests aquamarine mixed with teal and green. A foolproof way to rock it? Try CoverGirl’s Queen Collections 1-Kit Shadow in Peacock ($4; covergirl.com).
