Kate Winslet can do no wrong in our book; as she stepped on the red carpet last night at the premiere of Divergent—for the first time since the birth of son, Bear—she looked flawless as always in a poppy red cap-sleeve gown by British label SAFiYAA with sexy, loose waves and a subtle coral flush to complete the look.

Makeup artist Jillian Dempsey turned to that brilliant poppy red dress for inspiration on completing Winslet's look. "I wanted a vibrant makeup look with lush lashes and a peachy eyeshadow palette." Said peachy palette is Lancome Color Design 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette in French Nude ($50 at lancome-usa.com). Winslet's famous complexion got just a pop of sheer color on the apples of her cheeks with Lancome Blush Subtil in Soft Pink ($30 at lancome-usa.com).

Winslet's hair stylist, Renato Campora for John Frieda Hair Care tells InStyle.com he wanted to create modern, sophisticated waves with a beachy edge. He started by side-parting the star's hair and applying John Frieda Luxurious Volume Building Mousse ($6 at target.com) to damp strands. After a blow out, he used a 1.5 inch curling iron to create voluminous waves that have a beachy, yet defined style, then finished the look with John Frieda Luxurious Volume All Day Hold Hairspray ($7 at ulta.com) to keep her waves perfectly in place. Mission accomplished!
