At an intimate dinner celebrating the launch of Nate Berkus's latest holiday collection, we chatted with the decorating guru and got him to dish on the three things that are on the top of his wish list this year. They’re as cool, unique, and sweet as you would expect from the talented tastemaker—and you’re almost certainly going to want to add them to your own lists, too. Check ‘em out below, and don’t say we didn’t warn you.

“I swear by Dr. Colbert,” says Berkus, "and this collection is exactly what your skin will need post holiday season.” With this set of products that repair, hydrate and smooth, lucky recipients can replicate (almost) the celebrity dermatologist’s signature Triad facial that’s loved by celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Sienna Miller, at a fraction of the cost.

"I'm an avid reader, so a book for me is always a go-to gift to give and receive,” says Berkus. “This particular one is on my holiday reading list this year.” Fit for a design enthusiast, the two-volume set tells the life story of Elsie de Wolfe (one of, if not the first well-known decorator) and her relationship with her dear friend and protégé, artist and interior designer Tony Duquette. Authored by Hutton Wilkinson and Flynn Kuhnert, the lavish set features hundreds of beautiful illustrations by Duquette himself.

$250; amazon.com.

Most of all, Berkus is craving more time with his handsome husband, Jeremiah Brent, and their ridiculously adorable daughter, Poppy. And with faces as cute as these, can you blame him?
