Although Coachella is technically a music and arts festival, the events would have a vastly different vibe without its celebrity appearances and the bohemian fashions of concert-goers. Swedish retailer H&M, which is often sported during festival season, has capitalized on the phenomenon by collaborating with the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on a branded line. Get ready for the H&M Loves Coachella collection.
According to H&M, the collection will offer men's and women's clothing and accessories (the pieces will range from $5 to $50). The ladies' line focuses on a romantic trend with graphic tops, fringe, lace, rompers, crop tops, shorts, and wide-legged pants. For men it will be all about the graphic tees and shorts.
The outdoor music festival season has grown in popularity over the last few years with hundreds of music festivals launching all over the country from March through October. According to Billboard, more new festivals were launched in 2013 than in any other year in history. That is a lot of fashion opportunities!
The H&M Loves Coachella collection will be available on hm.com and in approximately 350 stores in North America from March 19 and everywhere else on March 26. This is just in time for Coachella which takes place April 10 through 12 and April 17 to 19. There will even be a pop-up H&M shop on site at the concert.
