Kerry Washington wasn't the only gladiator in a (pant)suit on the set of Scandal Monday night. Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton stopped by the set of ABC's hit political drama during a fundraising trip in Los Angeles, and the cast was understandably excited.
"So, this happened while I was directing tonight. No big deal. #imwithher," actor Scott Foley captioned an Instagram photo of himself, Clinton, and the show's fictional president, Fitzgerald Grant, played by Tony Goldwyn backstage.
Even the unflappable Olivia Pope (played by Washington) was starstruck in the presence of the real-life political VIP. "A good friend came by set today. Proud to say... #imwithher" Washtington wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Clinton being introduced to the show's cast and crew.
The political powerhouses even stopped for a selfie together, which Washington shared on Instagram captioned with Clinton's campaign slogan "#imwithher."
Actress Darby Stanchfield got in on the selfies too and posted a picture of herself and the former Secretary of State smiling at the camera. "Wow! Look who stopped by the set of #Scandal tonight!"
