A star wasn't born last night in New York, but appropriately recognized: Barbra Streisand was the object of accolades and tributes from the likes of President Bill Clinton and wife Hillary, Catherine Zeta-Jones and husband Michael Douglas, and more at the 40th Annual Chaplin Award Gala at Lincoln Center. The Film Society gives a Chaplin Award every year to an artist who has made significant contributions to the art of film. Streisand was also serenaded from some of music's most iconic performers, including Liza Minnelli and Tony Bennett, who closed the program by singing Chaplin's happy-go-lucky song "Smile." And smile Babs did! Click the photo to see more of last night's most star-studded parties.
