Awards season is ramping up! This week we have the People's Choice Awards and the Golden Globes on deck. But the celebrations started last night for a few lucky stars at the 80th Annual New York Film Critics Circle Awards. The ceremony took place at TAO Downtown in New York City, where stars such as Jake Gyllenhaal and Kyra Sedgwick were on hand to present the awards.

Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette’s film Boyhood won the top honor of Best Picture, while the award for Best Actress went to Marion Cotillard for her work in both The Immigrant and Two Days, One Night. After Gyllenhaal praised Cotillard for her “spectacular” performances while presenting her with the award, the actress thanked the crowd for “driving more people to listen to the stories we tell.”
