Roll out the red carpet, awards season lives on: MTV just announced the 2015 Movie Awards nominees. With categories like Best Scared-as-Sh— Performance, Best Kiss, Best WTF Moment, and Best Shirtless Performance, the ceremony will be anything but basic (plus, the hilarious Amy Schumer is hosting). We can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans go down during the show.

While Oscar-nominated films like Boyhood, American Sniper, and Birdman are among the honorees, this event is all about movies that made a bang at the box office—audience favorites like Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fault in Our Stars, and Neighbors lead the pack with seven nods each, followed by 22 Jump Street and Whiplash, which are both up for five buckets of golden popcorn.
