Happy birthday, Marion Cotillard! The French actress turns 39 today. Cotillard made her first splash in Hollywood by starring in the 2003 Tim Burton film Big Fish. The brunette beauty continued making major moves in America after conquering the French film industry (she has earned two César Awards—the equivalent to an Oscar), before landing the lead role in La Vie en Rose, a biopic depicting the life and career of legendary French singer Édith Piaf. Cotillard's performance won the actress her first Golden Globe and Academy Award. Up next for the powerhouse? A leading role in the screen adaptation of Macbeth, opposite Michael Fassbender.
