Sure he may have a reputation as a playboy, but Adam Levine seems to be getting into the groove of wedding planning. The engaged rocker --fiancée is model Behati Prinsloo--is looping in his Maroon 5 bandmates for the big day.
In an interview with Australian radio station 2DayFM, reported by ABC News, guitarist James Valentine reveals that Levine's longtime pal and Maroon 5 keyboardist Jesse Carmichael will be the best man.
"Those guys go back," Valentine told the radio station. (To when they were 12-year-olds to be exact!) "What's interesting about the band is, I've been with the band for 15 years but I'm still one of the 'new' members!" Valentine added.
Not that Valentine won't play his own important part in the ceremony. He'll be strumming an acoustic guitar as guests are walking in. Rather than tout Maroon 5 singles, Valentine's playlist is a "nice little medley" of Beatles songs. ("Strawberry Fields Forever" anyone?)
And it seems in Prinsloo, who's also a Victoria's Secret regular, Levine has met his globe-trotting match. Valentine laughed off the idea of the duo settling down. "Oh no, not at all," he said. "They will not! They're so much fun to be around together. I'm very happy for them."
