A new episode of The Good Wife premiered on Sunday, in which Julianna Margulies’s character Alicia Florrick had to play hardball at work (cutting associates' hours) and at home (helping her husband at the debate). For the story arc, costume designer Daniel Lawson wanted to keep her look neutral, with only one big pop at her husband's debate, in which he put her in a bright red dress by No. 35 designer Andrea Cohen. "I wanted her to look neutral all episode, and then really pop," Lawson said. "I wanted her to overpower the opponent, Maddie, visually. There is definitely something political about her look."
