With Golden Globes buzz in full swing, Gina Rodriguez can add another nomination under her belt for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series. The Jane the Virgin star was all smiles at the Moet & Chandon celebration on Tuesday night at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont.

The 2015 Golden Globes winner hosted an intimate cocktail party to announce her participation in the first ever Moet Moment Film Festival, a competition for aspiring filmmakers. Moet & Chandon toasted to 25 years of being the official Champagne of the Golden Globe Awards. Rodriguez is part of the judging panel for the festival. The film festival is dedicating their annual fund to giving back to the creative community.

After cocktail hour, Rodriguez and Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Lorenzo Soria toasted to a wonderful 25 years of Moet & Chandon, while also celebrating the launch of Moet’s inaugural film festival. Rodriguez said she was “honored” to be part of the event.

The beauty found the event and her amazing year to come full circle, telling InStyle, “I remember when I was 18 and my sister got me my first bottle of Champagne when I got accepted to NYU and it was Moet, and she said, ‘One day you’ll be able to afford this, too, honey.' This is a moment I’m gonna cherish.”

The starlet sipped on Champagne and reminisced on her 2015 Golden Globes Award win. And while the star has had an amazing year, Rodriguez remains humble and wants to continue helping other artists, because she was once in their shoes. She tells InStyle, “People took chances on me and that’s the reason I was there, that’s the reason why I’m here, that’s the reason why I continue to do what I love.”
