On Thursday, the happy pair wowed the moment they arrived at the premiere of George’s latest flick, Money Monster, at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. The Clooneys took a moment to greet Monster’s director, Jodie Foster, and George’s co-star, Julia Roberts, but it wasn’t their A-list encounter that stole the show.
Amal dazzled in a pastel yellow, one shoulder silk chiffon Atelier Versace gown with a long, billowing train and once more put forward a bold beauty look that consisted of a bright red lip and a wavy side part. For George, the black tie occasion called for a tailored tuxedo with a crisp white shirt, patent leather shoes, and, naturally, a freshly trimmed beard that proves he’s one of the most dapper actors out there.
As they made their way past the cameras, the Clooneys also made it clear who they were most excited to see: each other. George held Amal’s lower back while they posed, and the two couldn’t stop holding hands as they made their way up the steps of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
This look is definitely one for the books.
