Worlds collided this weekend when the casts of two of the biggest shows on TV were in one room. At a tribute dinner for director James Burrows Sunday night, the cast of Friends—including Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow (Matthew Perry was unable to attend)—gathered to honor the man who directed 15 episodes of their long-running NBC sitcom.
Also at the dinner: The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, and Jim Parsons, who were there to honor the director as well. Cuoco was lucky enough to get a snap of the two casts together for Instagram and she was quite ecstatic. "Ummmm NIGHT MADE. Can't breathe #friends meets #bbt @bigbangtheory_cbs I died and went to heaven," she captioned the photo.
The casts of both shows are set to appear in a two-hour special called Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrows, that will air on Feb. 21 on NBC. Burrows is being honored for his work on these two hit shows as well as The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Taxi, Cheers, Frasier, Will & Grace, Two and a Half Men, and Mike & Molly.
