Need a little motivation to start taking the stairs over the elevator? There's a brand new crop of wearables from Fitbit that'll inspire you to get moving and make every step count.

The Fitbit Alta features a slim new stainless steel body and interchangable bands (a first for the brand) in a variety of colors, styles, and materials, making it easy to seamlessly blend the tracker into your wardrobe. The classic silicone bands are sweat-resistant for the gym or your daily run, but new supple leather and brushed steel versions (our personal faves) will help you transition from morning sweat sesh to the office.

The souped up bands don't simply serve as arm candy—they're also more functional than ever, thanks to reminders to move (which alert you to get up and stay active throughout the day), SmartTrack automatic exercise recognition (which intuitively recognizes and tracks activities like walking, running, cycling, elliptical, and dance), and automatic sleep tracking (which lets you doze off without having to remember to change your device to sleep mode).

Excuse us while we sign up for a cardio kickboxing class.
