Whether she's inhaling helium with Jimmy Fallon or waltzing down a red carpet, Helen Mirren always manages to keep things classic. And last night at The Woman in Gold premiere, clad in a black Badgley Mischka dress, she also proved that she's a fuss-free kind of gal. “It’s a one stop shop for me,” she said of choosing her dress by the duo. “I zip it up and it fit perfectly and it’s brilliant. They just do beautiful evening wear.”
But just because she's a Dame doesn't mean she doesn't love to come home and put her feet up after a long day just like the rest of us, telling InStyle that her post red carpet routine is to “take my shoes off, put my pajamas on, switch on the TV, and watch Dance Moms.”
Joining Mirren at the premiere was co-star Katie Holmes, clad in a fuscia Zac Posen dress that featured midriff cutouts. “I just love it,” she told InStyle of her sexy, sparkly ensemble which first caught her eye on the catwalk during New York Fashion Week. “I saw it at his runway show and I love pink.” Sounds like quite a fun girl's night out.
