Good news: We're one step closer to our next big-screen dose of Christian Grey. On Tuesday author E.L. James revealed that filming is officially underway for the first sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker.
"Day one #FSD Good luck to all the cast and crew" James captioned a photo of the director's clapboard.
The movie is based on James's novel of the same name—the second book in the erotic series chronicling the steamy love affair between Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey (portrayed on the big screen by Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, respectively). Both Johnson and Dornan will return for the franchise's second installment, which will be directed by James Foley.
Fifty Shades Darker is slated to hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
