Ewan McGregor has been in more films that we can keep track of, and while he often tackles scripts geared toward an adult audience (think Black Hawk Down, Trainspotting, and Moulin Rouge!), the handsome star is still a kid at heart.

On Wednesday night at a New York screening of Miles Ahead, in which McGregor portrays a journalist trying to write about jazz musician Miles Davis (played by Don Cheadle), the Scottish actor opened up about his favorite childhood films.

“When I was a kid I always loved Dumbo. I don’t know. I love that crow song about the elephant flying ["When I See an Elephant Fly"]. I think that was my favorite, favorite one,” he told InStyle at the event, which was hosted by The Cinema Society with Ketel One. And that’s not the only sign of the 44-year-old father of four's kid-like sensibility. The star—who attended the screening with his eldest child, 20-year-old Clara (below)—also revealed that he still watches kids' movies with his children, including his younger daughters, teens Jamiyan and Esther and 5-year-old Anouk.

“I think the first film I ever saw in the cinema was Bedknobs and Broomsticks, which is a little bit of a live action, a little bit of an animated film. I love that film," he said. "I still watch that with my girls today.” Swoon!

Considering he’s set to portray Lumiere in the 2017 live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, it seems fitting that he has a soft spot for Disney movies.
