Eva Longoria’s tiny frame stands five-foot-two, and with such petite proportions, she’s had to figure out how to flatter her shape. Her secret? “Tailoring!” she told us at the Lay’s “Do Us a Flavor” campaign launch recently. “If you’re a small person you have to alter everything.” Therefore, she nips, tucks, cuts, and shortens every piece in her closet, including T-shirts, jeans, dresses (like the one she wore this to the Obama for America Women's Summit in Miami weekend, above right), and more. You name it, she’s altered it. “I focus proportions,” she said. “I take in the waist on everything.” And she suggests you do, too. “Usually tailors understand and appreciate it,” she said. “They see it and say, ‘This needs to come off!’” See our favorite Eva looks (and most successfully-altered) in the gallery!
