Not only did Downton Abbey's Lady Mary Crawley get to wear an amazing antique tiara when she—spoiler alert!—married Matthew, the actress also gets to wear incredible Victorian-era dresses, created by the show's costume designers Suzannah Buxton and Caroline McCall, on a regular basis. At the British Academy of Film and Television Arts TV Tea in Los Angeles last night, Dockery, who is nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category, recalled some of her lacy wardrobe staples in a Nina Ricci butterfly-embroidered tulle minidress from the Resort 2013 collection, which the star told InStyle.com she picked because of its "really vintage" look. And it's not the only time Lady Mary has seeped into her everyday wardrobe choices. "I've developed more an of eye for detail and more of a sense of my own style than I had before," she told us. "I used to buy a lot of things and never really wear them. So I try now to just buy one really good thing that I like. I'm really into blazers at the moment." But we have a feeling she won't be wearing one tonight. Keep your eyes glued to InStyle.com for up-to-the-minute coverage of the red carpet, ceremony, and everything Emmys!
