Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling were the cutest co-stars on the red carpet at the premiere of their new film, La La Land, at the Toronto International Film Festival Monday.

Stone, 27, looked positively radiant in a yellow shift dress covered in elaborate floral beading. A pair of cream pointy-toe pumps matched the delicate headband the actress wore to hold back her shoulder-length red hair. Gosling, 35, was every bit a leading man beside her in a patterned navy Gucci suit and a white shirt, which he wore without a tie.

La La Land is an original musical from Whiplash director Damien Chazelle set in modern-day Los Angeles. The film chronicles the romance between Sebastian (Gosling), a jazz pianist, and Mia (Stone), an aspiring actress, who fall in love while pursuing stardom. This latest endeavor is the third on-screen collaboration for the beloved actors.

"We made two films together and now three, and so you know it's great to work with people you know," Gosling told E! at the premiere. "I think it brings the best out of them because you know one another, and you are able to help each other in a way that you can't if you're strangers."

Meanwhile, Stone couldn't help but gush over her hunky co-star. "I just think he's great. I mean, he's a fantastic actor and it's just so much fun to work with him and that's kind of all there is to it, really. It's no more exciting than that—or less exciting than that."
