Brooklyn star Saoirse Ronan is nominated for Best Actress at the Golden Globes this weekend, but when the nominees are announced, you may not recognize her name–because it’s actually pronounced “Sur-sha.” Her unique moniker is often mispronounced, so Ellen DeGeneres made her a clever gift for awards show season: an over-the-shoulder sign that says, “Hello, My Name Is Sur-Sha.”

Saoirse Ronan is here tomorrow! And she rhymes with inertia.

The sign was also packed with goodies like Champagne and snacks, making it the perfect awards show companion. But regardless of whether she uses it to accessorize her gown, DeGeneres’s gift is sure to help raise awareness, much like Ryan Gosling had done in November. “It’s Ser-sha, like inertia,” he said on-stage at the Hollywood Film Awards when presenting Ronan with the New Hollywood Award.

His star power must have helped, as Saoirse told People that Gosling was “like a blond Canadian Jesus.” But by the end of this award season, we don’t think Ronan will have any trouble with people knowing her name. The Brooklyn star is nominated for Best Actress at the Golden Globes and SAG Awards, and is expected to earn her second Oscar nom (her first was for her work in the 2007 film, Atonement). “Sur-sha” is sure to be a household name in no time.
