The second Fifty Shades of Grey movie is set to be a family affair. E.L. James's husband Niall Leonard will reportedly write the script of the sequel.

It won't be Leonard's first foray into script writing—he's a well-established screenwriter and author, with TV titles including Wire in the Blood and the Crusher book series under his belt. He also contributed to the first film's script, but was uncredited.

With Sam Taylor-Johnson and Kelly Marcel having pulled out of production of the second movie, James decided to enlist her husband according to The Hollywood Reporter. Producer Michael De Luca told the publication in a statement: "Niall is an outstanding writer in his own right, with multiple established credits, and we are lucky to have him join Team Fifty."

For now, further details of the Fifty Shades follow-up are unknown, with production reportedly stalled while Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan negotiate their salaries. But watch this space for more details.
