An Oscar win lands you more than just a shiny gold trophy, and Eddie Redmayne is the latest star to relish in the fruits of his labor. On Monday, Prada announced the Danish Girl star as the face of its new campaign and in a series of six images, Redmayne proves he's as versatile as they come.
Photographed by Craig McDean, the brand's fall 2016 men's campaign finds the 34-year-old posing in the studio, dressed in a sporty selection of the brand’s multi-colored knit bomber jackets; sleek, below-the-knee trench coats; double-breasted, buckle-adorned brogues; hardware-clad accessories; and oversize graphic shirts.
According to the brand’s Instagram account, the entire shoot was inspired by "19th-century neo-classical paintings.”
Redmayne won the Academy Award in 2015 for his work in The Theory of Everything and is set to appear in the other-worldly Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them this November.
