Ed Sheeran Gets Shredded While Boxing in “Shape of You" Music Video

Ed Sheeran as Rocky Balboa? Now we can see it.

The British singer took a departure from his past music videos on Monday morning, when he finally dropped the footage to accompany his new track "Shape of You." From the looks of it, the 25-year-old is not afraid to get his sparring gloves on as he finds release and love in a boxing ring.

"Girl, you know I want your love / Your love was handmade for somebody like me / Come on now, follow my lead," the "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker croons in the catchy single while we see him training by running around railroad tracks in a gray hoodie, sparring alongside his love interest (played by Jennie Pegouskie), and even heading to the pub to chow down on the biggest plate of fish and chips we've ever seen.

While the pop star recently revealed that he gained 50 pounds due to one too many beers during his music break, Sheeran definitely looked like he was getting his mojo back in the four-and-a-half minute clip, where we see him shirtless, punching the bag, and doing push-ups and pull-ups with a determined look on his face.

The romance heats up in and away from the ring as the couple gets close, but things take a definite turn for Sheeran when Jennie disappears and a scene straight from Fight Club ensues!
