It was a family affair for Drew Barrymore at the Safe Kids Day event in West Hollywood, Calif., yesterday, where the star came out for a day of fun with husband Will Kopelman and daughters Olive, 2, and Frankie, 1. The actress---who looked spring-ready in a floral Topshop blouse, skinny jeans, and Chanel loafers---revealed how her fashion sense and outlook on life has evolved because of motherhood.
"My style has definitely changed since becoming a mom," Barrymore tells InStyle. "I’m less of a crazy pattern mixer now, and I had to do a big closet clean. It was hard---hot pink high-tops, revealing pajamas, and crazy polka dotted tops are not so much me anymore."
And as for bouncing back post-baby, Barrymore has some sound advice. "It’s silly to fall prey to the pressure put on celebrity moms, and moms in general," Barrymore says. "Just don’t even think about it. Do your own thing, and respect the fact that your body takes nine months to build something. Let it take nine months to unbuild it, at the bare minimum. Women should not feel that pressure at all. It is ridiculous."
