Not sure what to do with those extra bras you never wear? Here's an idea: Why not free up space in your lingerie drawer by donating to the Soma x National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) annual bra donation drive? By bringing your gently used bras to a Soma boutique location from now through Thursday, Feb. 3, you can help women in your community affected by domesitc violence.
Over the past five years, Soma's domestic violence initiative has really taken off, collecting more than one million bras for women in need. The effort is especially important because bras are the least donated—but most needed—clothing item at women's shelters. With statistics showing one in every four women experiences some form of domestic violence, the need is now greater than ever.
To help with the drive's mission of making women, regardless of situation, feel supported from the inside out, head on over to Soma.com to find a boutique near you. Here's to helping your fellow women by decluttering your undergarment drawer. It's easy as can be and, as it turns out, women only need four bras in their weekly bra rotation. If you are anything like us, you've managed to collect a few too many bras over the years that could use getting rid of. Happy donating!
