In celebration of Cyber Monday, we're diving into the latest discussion in the world of online shopping delivery: drones. Amazon.com has just announced they are working on Amazon Prime Air, a revolutionary online delivery option that uses unmanned aerial vehicles—otherwise known as drones—to drop your order to your doorstep (yes, really). Amazon Prime Air would get items you order, weighing under 5 pounds, into your hands in 30 minutes or less. Amazon hopes the service will launch as early as 2015, pending The Federal Aviation Administration's regulations for unmanned aerial vehicles. Just imagine: one day, seeing Prime Air "vehicles" could be as normal as seeing mail trucks on the road.
We want to know: Would you use Amazon Prime Air to have drones deliver your packages? Vote in the poll below to tell us!
