One day after Carrie Fisher's untimely death, her mom, actress Debbie Reynolds, passed away at the age of 84. The tragic losses have left the bright lights of Hollywood looking a little dimmer and their peers have taken to social media to share thoughts and condolences following Reynolds's death on Wednesday. Many reflected on their memories of the star, who enjoyed an impressive 70-year career on the big screen.

Reynolds's son Todd Fisher spoke about the Singin' in the Rain star and her final moments in an interview and seemed to suggest that Reynolds passed away as much as from a broken heart as her reported stroke.

"She missed her daughter and wanted to very much be with her," Fisher told ET in the heartbreaking interview. "[There was] enormous stress on her, obviously. And this morning she said those words to me and 15 minutes later she had a stroke and virtually left."

See how stars paid tribute to Reynolds below.
