Congratulations are in order for David Duchovny! The X-Files and Californication star received the 2,572nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Monday. The 55-year-old actor was honored just one day after the highly anticipated television return of The X-Files—the cult classic that launched his acting career to new heights in 1993. In nearly three decades acting for both television and film, Duchovny has received two Golden Globe awards and four Emmy nominations.

Duchovny—a New York City native who hold degrees from Princeton and Yale—is currently filming the second season of NBC's Aquarius, and recently released a solo rock album titled Hell or Highwater. His upcoming book, Bucky F—ing Dent, is due out in April.
