It was movie night on this week's Dancing with the Stars! Karina Smirnoff and partner Randy Couture took to the stage with their rendition of the Paso Doble, inspired by Couture's favorite film, Rocky III.
"I wanted everything to resemble the theme, the dance floor as the ring, the dance moves and the outfits for the paso doble, which is such a strong and intense dance," Smirnoff exclusively tells InStyle. The dancer's red ensemble was comprised of a cut-out halter top, a white belt reminiscent of boxing, and long silk skirt. "I wanted to make [the skirt] long so I could use it while we were 'in battle' with one another" she says.
The dancing duo earned a 26 out of 40 last night, behind Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Bethany Mota and Derek Hough—both pairs scored 40 out of 40. Unfortunately, Smirnoff and Couture were eliminated this week, leaving 10 couples in the ballroom. Tune in next Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC for the live results show.
