By now you probably know that Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley is an incredible actress and a red carpet pro, but did you know that she can sing too? At Sunday's Academy Awards, Ridley told E! News she had recorded a song that Saturday with a “legendary” singer, and she finally revealed the identity of the duet partner: Barbra Streisand.
Ridley took to Instagram Tuesday to post a photo of herself in the recording booth with Babs. “I’m gonna end this spate of pictures detailing my insane weekend with this …” she captioned the post of the two smiling stars.
At the Oscar Wilde Awards last week, The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams recalled the moment he first learned Ridley could sing. “One day on set, she just started singing and had the most beautiful voice I ever heard,” he said during the ceremony, according to E! News.
If you’re wondering what that voice could sound like, here’s a clip from December where Ridley sweetly sang “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with her Star Wars co-star Oscar Isaac:
We can’t wait to hear the music that comes out of her latest collaboration!
