Mariah Carey isn’t the only A-lister taking shelter in Aspen, Colo., this holiday season. Former MTV VJ Daisy Fuentes and singer Richard Marx are also enjoying the city’s snowcapped mountains not just for its beauty, but to celebrate their nuptials. On Christmas Day, newly married Fuentes took to Twitter to announce to the world that the happy couple said, “I do” on Wednesday, Dec. 23.
“This happened and I couldn’t be happier,” she wrote alongside the gorgeous image, where Fuentes proudly shows off her stunning lace dress and matching veil while Marx is looking handsome in a black tuxedo with a matching white scarf against a winter white landscape. This wasn’t the only shot the newly weds shared.
So where exactly did they exchange vows? Fuentes revealed on Twitter that they got hitched inside Aspen’s City Hall, where the beauty also rocked a faux fur coat with a similar fuzzy hat. Marx’s three sons from his previous marriage to Cynthia Rhodes were also along for the ride.
The couple has reportedly been dating for about one year and Fuentes starred in Marx’s music video for “Beautiful Goodbye” back in 2014. “It made perfect sense to me to ask my co-writer on the song, Daisy Fuentes, to be my co-star in the video,” he told People in September 2014. “In addition to writing the song with me, Daisy is the epitome of sexy, elegance, and class.”
Congratulations to the happy stars!
